Since its inception in 1936, the Staten Island Zoo has been known as an educational zoo, hosting programs for adults, families and children on a wide variety of wildlife and natural themes. More than 200 species of animals drawn from both North America and other locations around the world including the African serval, the red panda from Asia, and the ring-tailed lemur from Madagascar. The zoo sits just north of Clove Lakes Park in northern Staten Island.
Open daily, 10:00 a.m. - 4:45 p.m.
Adults $7; Seniors (60+) $5; Children (3-14) $4; Children under 3 are Free.
