THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE

This is definatly a place to avoid. Very OVERPRICED. Snobby & Stuffy Management. Went there for their two for one special. It was totally a joke. They give you a different menu that has a burger with fries listed for $28. If you look at their regular menu it is a few $'s cheaper. So they are charging you more money on their two for one menu for same items on their regular menu. Called ahead of time and asked about the kids eat free before I went to resturant to make sure that I could get the 2 for 1 and the kids eat free both at the same time. 20 mins later I walked in and a women who must be the owner or owner's wife was sitting at a table and did not look friendly at all. Place was empty. Maybe the menu prices has something to do with this. When I went to order I was told I could not get both the 2 for 1(not a bargin anyway) and the kids eat free and was told the kids would have to pay for their meals. I complained that I was told over the phone that you could have both deals and the person I spoke with was there and would not come over to us. The stuck up snobby lady who owns this place would not come over to us either and we just WALKED OUT OF THIS PLACE. This place won't stay in business long. Avoid this place.

Too much money for just OK food

I went here and was not impressed. Yes, Vinny was friendly, but there is an air of unhappiness among his employees that creep into the service. The busboys never brought out our water or bread, and though we repeatedly asked for our appetizers it came out with the meal.... 30 MINUTES after we ordered! It was such a long wait that I couldn't fully enjoy the meal. Then, the waiter helpfully suggested that we pay his gratuity in cash, not credit card. Could they not be paying out credit tips? hmmmm

This restaurant in the heart of Charleston has not only a at home feeling the food is fantastic. As soon as you arrive there is an aroma of Mama's kitchen from years past with an open area to view your chef's preparing your meal to a old fashioned brick oven pizza warming you up instantly. The menu is a mix of family homemade manicotti to a pick your own steak from a meat case display cut fresh with your name tagged on it. There is also a twist to this menu with an awesome seafood arrangement from lobster bisque made from scratch with chunks of sweet lobster, sweet potato crab hash, lobster crepes and lobster and avocado salad. To me this was heaven on earth for eaters who love classic steak and ribs to Mama's family classics. i would recommend Hoof n Finz to all.
